Capt. Keith J. Caruana x Alda Bugeja

Capt. Keith J. Caruana is a retired Armed Forces of Malta officer turned leathercrafter, fashion designer and founder of Captain’s Cut. Specialising in leather, his practice combines traditional craftsmanship with contemporary design and sustainability. Working with Tuscan leather and artisanal techniques, Keith creates handcrafted pieces focused on bespoke making, durability and preserving leathercraft skills.

Alda Bugeja is a Gozitan master weaver and textile artisan dedicated to preserving traditional crafts. Her practice, learned from her mother and grandmother, spans weaving, hand-spinning, dyeing, macramé and Gozitan lace, combining inherited craftsmanship with contemporary textile design.
