Re-Design: Citizens and the City
Urban Life through Selected Projects of Yesterday, Today, and Tomorrow

What makes a city truly work for the people who live in it? Beyond buildings and infrastructure, thoughtful urban design can shape how communities interact, improve quality of life and transform the way public spaces are experienced.

Held in collaboration with the ITA – Italian Trade Agency Desk in Malta, the Embassy of Italy in Malta and the Italian Cultural Institute in Valletta, the session will draw on experiences from Milan and Malta, exploring approaches that place people at the centre of urban development. From parks and shared spaces to the relationship between architecture and everyday life, Italian and Maltese perspectives will consider how lessons from the past and present can help shape the cities of tomorrow.

The discussion will be followed by a networking session until 21:00h.
