Ruslana Grima

Ruslana Grima recently completed a B.A. in Fine Arts (Honours) at the University of Malta and is currently undertaking a Master’s degree in Education in Art. Her practice spans various media, with particular emphasis on textiles and fabric-based work, including weaving, macramé and handcrafted techniques. Her undergraduate research explored the emotional and cultural value assigned to garments, examining how clothing carries memory, identity and meaning beyond its material function. These ideas continue to inform Ruslana’s work, particularly her exploration of transformation, material reuse and the narratives embedded within worn textiles.
