Tamar Durglisvili

Tamar Durglisvili is a self-taught Georgian designer whose creativity is rooted in family traditions, human relationships and an appreciation for handmade craftsmanship. Her work combines traditional Georgian ornamentation with contemporary design, placing the creative process at the heart of her practice. Working extensively with leather, Tamar revives traditional leather-sewing techniques in Sighnaghi while exploring modern approaches to form and decoration. Her distinctive style combines carefully selected colours with traditional and contemporary motifs. She presents her creations under her own brand and has participated in exhibitions and festivals in Georgia and internationally, including Greece, Germany and Italy.
