Tea Japaridze

Tea Japaridze studied Applied Arts at the Apollon Kutateladze Tbilisi State Academy of Arts. Her practice centres on abstraction, alongside still life and landscape. She is particularly known for mixed-media wall panels combining wool, silk, fabric, paint and other materials into richly textured, layered compositions. Tea began exhibiting in the 1990s and has since participated in exhibitions across Georgia and internationally. Her works are also held in private collections in the Netherlands and Germany.
