Bringing together designers, makers and educators, the discussion will explore how ideas move from concept to reality and how contemporary design is being shaped by craftsmanship, sustainability, innovation, cultural identity and technology. Emerging approaches across Europe will provide a wider perspective, considering what designers and makers can learn from these developments and how they can translate them into their own practice.

The discussion will be followed by a networking session until 21:00h.
